On March 21st, Gasabo District partnered with Rwanda Development Organization (RDO), AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF), and Health Development Initiative (HDI) to sponsor the Gasabo HIV Awareness Day.

Over 600 people attended the event. Guests enjoyed dance performances, a sketch, speeches, a poetry reading, and a testimony about how HIV and AIDS affect our lives and communities. People lined up to register for free HIV blood testing and received free condoms to promote HIV prevention. HDI is proud of Gasabo District’s efforts to prevent the spread of HIV.
