Center for Health and Rights
At the heart of HDI’s work on SRHR is its Centers for Health and Rights. These centers are stigma-free and SRHR-friendly service models that HDI established to reach the most vulnerable populations in Rwanda with accurate and free information and services.
Kicukiro Branch
Our primary Center is located in Kicukiro. It welcomes key populations, adolescents and young people, people from marginalized groups, and victims of GBV and SGBV. Health services, counseling and legal services are offered on the first floor. HDI’s offices and program staff are located on the second floor.

Nyamirambo Branch
In addition to serving our target beneficiaries, our outreach branch in Nyakabanda specializes in reaching out to key populations. The Center provides a safe environment to access sexual and reproductive health and rights services and counseling.

Rubavu Branch (HDI MED-CBC)
Located in Rubavu, Western Province, HDI MED-CBC is an inclusive clinic providing comprehensive health services. We offer general medical care, counseling, and legal support, with a dedicated focus on serving key populations, adolescents, young people, and marginalized communities. Our services also include safe abortion care, family planning, and support for survivors of gender-based violence (GBV/SGBV).
